DIY Sideyard Makeover | Part One 🔨

DIY Sideyard Makeover | Part One 🔨

Our sideyard is officially getting the glow-up it deserves — and we’re kicking things off with a project we’ve been wanting to tackle forever: DIY dry pour concrete pavers! ✨

This little side space has honestly been overlooked for way too long. It became more of a “walk-through-and-ignore-it” kind of area instead of something functional or beautiful. But not anymore! We finally decided it was time to transform it into a clean, modern extension of our outdoor space, and this is just the beginning.

Before we could even think about pouring concrete, we had to start with the foundation — literally. Part one of the makeover is all about building the frame that will shape the pavers and keep everything evenly spaced and secure. It may not be the flashy final reveal yet, but this step is SO important for making the entire project turn out right.

We wanted a look that feels minimal, durable, and budget-friendly, so making the pavers ourselves seemed like the perfect solution. Plus, there’s something super satisfying about creating custom outdoor features with your own hands. A little hard work, a little creativity, and a lot of measuring twice before cutting once. 😂

The process definitely took some patience, but seeing the frame come together made everything start to feel real. You can finally picture the finished space coming to life, and honestly, that’s the best motivation to keep going.

This makeover is far from finished, but we’re already obsessed with the progress. Next up: pouring the concrete and bringing these pavers to life! Stay tuned because this sideyard transformation is about to get GOOD. 💁🏼‍♀️
